November Round-Up

November at Fight or Flight: A Month of Connection, Community & Movement

As the darker days of winter draw in, November can feel heavy which is exactly why community matters most right now. This month, Fight or Flight brought people together in two powerful ways: for women to walk, talk and take time for themselves… and for men to connect, share and show up for one another.

Here’s what made November so special

Women’s Walk - Showing Up for Ourselves and Each Other

This Sunday was special. Seeing 30 women come together for our 10k walk... all from different backgrounds, with different stories, challenges and chapters, just showing up and walking side by side… that’s what Fight or Flight is all about.

Life gets busy, Whether you’re a mum, building a career, running a business, caring for others, or simply keeping your head above the pressures of everyday life… it’s easy to get swallowed by the noise and forget to look after yourself.

Fight or Flight isn’t only for when you’re struggling. It’s for everyone.

It’s for finding a moment of peace in the chaos.
For steps. For laughter. For fresh air.
For deep chats and new friendships.
You take what you need from it.

We believe in movement, connection and community — and you proved that powerfully on Sunday.

Thank you to every single woman who joined us.

Shoutout to Georgina, Laura, Kate and Beth for organising such a meaningful day. And huge thank you to Blooms and Bakes for hosting us and treating everyone to pastries afterwards - the perfect finish!

Men’s Wellness Day - Strength in Showing Up

Our first ever Men’s Day yesterday was a huge success!

Real conversations happening and connecting with others that people had never met before, Exactly the environment we wanted to create.

The day included a 30 minutes upper body workout in Society Gym in Reigate with their great coaching team and then a walk-and-talk through Reigate Priory. We grabbed coffees from The Chapel in Reigate to keep us fuelled, then wrapped up the afternoon with incredible food at Nisou.

Sometimes, all it takes is a step outside and the right people around you to realise you’re not alone. This day proved just how much this space is needed.
A chance for men to show up as themselves, no masks, no judgement, just support.

And this is only the beginning! We’ll be running another one soon and we’ve already got some exciting ideas for what comes next.

Looking Ahead…

November reminded us of the power in simply showing up, for yourself, and for each other.

As we step into December, we’ll keep creating safe, welcoming spaces where everyone can move their body, care for their mind and meet a genuine community.
